SYNOPSIS: WE WILL ROCK YOU tells the story of a globalized future without musical instruments. A handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, fight against the all-powerful GlobalSoft Company and its boss, the Killer Queen; they fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of the age of rock. Scaramouche and Galileo, two young outsiders, cannot come to terms with the bleak conformist reality. They join the Bohemians and embark on the search to find the unlimited power of freedom, love and Rock!

* Note - If there is a resurgence of COVID - 19 and in-person classes/rehearsals are not available, as ordered by the State of Connecticut, our classes/rehearsals will automatically revert to an on-line platform. If a student attends a school with a COVID -19 out break in their class they will be required to self quarantine for 2 weeks at home and take class via zoom with us. If any class member or teacher contracts COVID-19 all class members would be required to stay home to self quarantine and class would automatically be taught online.
What is BBMTI?
Broadway Bound Musical Theatre Intensive is a ten week pre-professional conservatory workshop for Grades 6th -10th that prepares students to become triple threat performers, all while having fun and building lifelong relationships!!
Why Broadway Bound?
BBMTI will help your child/teen build essential professional performing arts skills for their future, along with performing in a Broadway-style show highlighting what they have learned.
What will you learn?
Week 1 - "Be Prepared" Students will work on honing their performing arts skills. They will experience award - winning coaching on songs and monologues, learn audition choreography , build HEALTHY vocal technique so they can last eight shows a week and learn to apply it to different styles such as Rock for WWRY, role play with scenes from our upcoming show, and so much more!
The week will conclude in auditioning for our creative team to be cast in our upcoming show. Our auditions are part of the training our students receive and each student will receive feedback on their audition!
Weeks 2 through 9 - "A 5, 6, 7, 8" Our students will immediately put into practice what they learned in week one by preparing a broadway style musical. Students will work on scene study, choreography, solos and harmonies, green screen special effects and block scenes.
Week 10 - "On With The Show" Students will begin to bring everything they learned to life with tech rehearsals, dress rehearsal and finish with 4 Live- Streamed professional performances of "We Will Rock You"!
