what is your LITTLE ROCKERS PROGRAM?
Kidzrock is rock band specifically for kids ages 4 -7. Not just after school music lessons, this is a rock band music program that teaches children as young as 4 to play an instrument in the setting of a real rock band! Youth band members rotate singing, playing drums, electric guitar, and keyboard as they prepare to play a rock concert. Each band sings and performs songs specially composed for the program. The songs use simple music patterns, allowing this age group to immediately enjoy the feeling of musical performance! Kidzrock brings kids music lessons to a younger age group than ever before. This program is THE choice for kids music lessons.
WHAT WILL MY KID LEARN?
The program creates a unique experience by combining instruments, theory, singing, ensemble performance and rock ‘n’ roll fantasy all rolled into one. Skills learned include:
- The basic mechanics of guitar, drums, and keyboards
- How to read and play notes on the treble and percussion clef
- Improvisation
- Singing on pitch
- Musical dynamics
- Music terminology
- How to play with others
HOW DO THE KIDS READ THE MUSIC?
Children learn how to read color-coded standard music notation from the Kidzrock Songbook.
- DO THE KIDS PLAY FULL SIZE INSTRUMENTS?
We play on modified instruments for smaller sized hands. All instruments are however “real” guitars, drums, and keyboards, just smaller. All instruments are provided by us and there are no practice expectations outside of the class.

CAN MY CHILD ALSO TAKE PRIVATE LESSONS?
Depending on the child's age, you may add private lessons. Talk to your kidzrock instructor about your child's progression and what is best for them.
How many weeks is the program, how many lessons, etc?
Each class is once per week for 45 minute lessons and runs for 3 months.
what is your policy for missing a lesson?
We do not offer makeup lessons for group classes.
can i sit in to watch the classes?
We are unable to have parents sit in group classes due to our limited space. Each room is equipped with cameras and windows so you can sit in our comfortable waiting area and watch your child rock out with their peers on our high definition TV's or through the viewing window.
