From the first piano class, we customize a personal program just for you. Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn Bach or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. You do not have to have a piano at home to take lessons. A simple full size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6 months.

WHAT WILL I OR MY CHILD LEARN IN PIANO LESSONS?
Starting from the first piano lesson, we customize a personal program for each student based on one’s developmental stage, unique abilities, individual learning styles, and musical goals. Students have a choice in duration of their weekly classes based on teacher’s recommendation and individual personal needs. Students can choose between 30-min.and 60-min. individual weekly classes. Each class contains elements of music theory, piano technique, ear-training, sight-reading, music history, and application to song! Our piano students are introduced to various musical genre, and they play the pieces they love, from Popular to Classical.
We give numerous opportunities for our students to perform throughout the year. Many of our events have become a yearly beloved tradition, such as the Halloween Cabaret, The NHAOPA Christmas Spectacular, Valentine's Cabaret and Annual End of the School Year Showcase. Performing in these and other shows is optional, where students make a personal decision with their teachers and parents as to which rshows they wish and are ready to participate in. Our events are very organized, and they are a lot of fun.

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?
The academy is open year-round and we are continually enrolling new students .While we recommend that you give lessons a minimum one year trial, we do offer month to month lessons as well.
