HOURS: 9:00 AM - 3:00PM Monday - Friday
Tech Rehearsal July 3rd until 5:00 PM
Dress Rehearsal July 4th until 5:00 PM
July 5th Call time 12:00 PM with shows being 2:00pm and 6:00pm
July 6th Call time will be 11:00 AM with shows being 1:00pm and 5:00pm

Dress Rehearsal July 17th until 9:00 PM
July 18th call time 4pm with show being 7:00 pm
July 19th call time: 12:00 PM with shows being 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
July 20th call time: 11:00 AM with shows being 2:00 PM
Please Note: Depending on casting up to 2 additional performances may be added on if needed
Early Drop off (8:00 AM) available for additional fee (see registration form below)
Late pick up (5:00 PM) available for additional fee (see registration form below)( Only needed for Small Stars)
ATTENDANCE:
NHAOPA Kindly asks everyone to be on time each day for drop off and pick up. Tardiness and absenteeism crucially effects the quality of our show. If you will be arriving late or not coming a specific day we kindly ask you to let us know in advance. It’s best to email our office at [email protected] if your child will need to miss a day.
*All students must be signed in/out each day by a parent or guardian no exceptions
** When dropping off and picking up please park on MAIN STREET only and refrain from blocking neighbor driveways

MEDICATIONS:
Theatre program staff are NOT allowed to dispense any medications to actors, except basic first aid. The actor is responsible for taking his/her own medicine. Parent/Guardian must notify the Program Director of children that need to take medicine during program hours.
NUT ALLERGIES
Although we can not guarantee a nut free environment, parents are asked to please refrain from giving students any food and beverage products that may contain NUTS. The safety of all our children is our top priority. If your child has an allergy, we require they be able to administer their own EpiPen in case of an emergency. They must have their EpiPen with them each day.
EMERGENCY:
In case of an emergency, parents and/or emergency contact will be notified. However NHAOPA and its’ affiliates are not responsible for notifying appropriate guardian to insufficient or inaccurate information on registration form. If any information changes at any point, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian’s responsibility to notify the staff.
ATTIRE:
Although formal dance wear is not required we kindly ask that both girls and boys wear comfortable clothing. NO Skirts, flip flops, sandals or open toe shoes of any kind
Boys - Deodorant, T-shirts, Tank tops, shorts, sweatpants, or jazz pants and socks/sneakers. No Jeans or other restrictive clothing.
Girls - Deodorant, T shirts, Tank tops, shorts, sweatpants, dance shorts, jazz pants, leotards socks and sneakers are all acceptable. Please wear hair in pony tails or bun.
If you own your own dance shoes please bring them. Students will need Flat jazz/character shows. We will try our hardest to provide used shoes for those students who do not own their own. If you have old dance shoes you no longer use and can donate them we would truly appreciate it.
FOOD/BEVERAGE
Food will NOT be provided. All students are asked to bring a bagged lunch/snacks with beverages water and sports drinks are best . Soda and Juice are not allowed
CASTING
For our Small Stars Each student will be given the opportunity to audition for our directors on the first day of the program and roles will be assigned on the second day. For our Broadway Bound Teen Intensive students will audition at end the first week for our casting directors. By signing this agreement you agree to accept what ever roles given with out question or complaints to our directors.
SINGING AND ACTING CLASS
Please try to have some kind of recording device that you may use for musical and acting materials in order to practice. You may bring a recorder, iPod, cellphone, or tablet or just a plain old notebook and pencil.
CELLPHONE POLICY
The use of cellphones and or electronic devices, except for recording in class, is not permitted. NHAOPA and its’ affiliates are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen goods.
MEDIA RELEASE
I hereby grant NHAOPA and those acting for or on it’s behalf, including, without limitation, it’s advertising and design agencies and publishers, the right and permission to use students’ photograph(s), likeness, and or interview, in any form and in any media for advertising, publicity, trade, and any other lawful purposes.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations made before May 15th, 2023 will be subject to a $100 non-refundable cancellation fee. All cancellations made on or after May 15th, 2023 are non-refundable and non-creditable.
I, the undersigned individual and as a parent or guardian of the above named child, agree that I have read the policies and procedures outlined above and understand that failure to adhere to these policies can result in my child’s expulsion
from the program without a refund. I understand that there are no credits or refunds if my child should be expelled for any reason from the program or should we choose to leave the program. I agree to pay the remaining balance by no later than 4/15/2025. I agree that should I cancel before May 15th, 2025 I will be subject to a $100 non-refundable cancellation fee and If I cancel on or after May 15th, 2025 I am not entitled to a refund and or credit.
I also do hereby agree to waive, release and hold harmless New Haven Academy of Performing Arts, Broadway Dance, and Billy DiCrosta Vocal Studio, LLC and it’s respective officers, directors, agents, insurers, and employees from any and all causes of action including but not limited to COVID -19, personal injury and property damage. I agree by clicking the registration button to all the policies and procedures.
