WHAT US BROADWAY-BOUND SUMMER INTENSIVE?
BBMTI is an award-winning three-week pre-professional conservatory workshop for ages 13-18 that prepares students to become triple-threat performers,
all while having fun and building lifelong relationships!
WHY BROADWAY BOUND?
This program will help your child/TEEN build essential professional performing arts skills for their future, along with performing in a broadway-style show
highlighting what they have learned.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
During week one, students will work on honing their performing arts skills. They will experience award-winning coaching on songs and monologue, learn to conquer dance auditions and "Turn Cold Reading into Hot Auditions", strengthen their vocal technique so they can last eight shows a week and learn to apply it to different styles, role play with scenes from our upcoming show, learn to dress for audition and "What NOT to Wear", take their auditions to the next level in "Acting Your Song" and so much more!
The week will conclude in auditioning for a professional casting director to be cast in our upcoming show. Students will also receive written feedback on their audition from both the casting director and NHAOPA faculty.
On weeks two and three our students will immediately put in to practice what they learned during week one by preparing a broadway-style musical. Students will learn scripts, choreography, music and block scenes. The finale at the end of three weeks, will be four professional performances of a broadway-style production!
